Remember, the mainstream media was long ago taken over and made a vehicle for Soviet psycho-politics. They do not show you what "is" they show you what they want you to believe. Look at how TV has affected middle/lower class family life. In the evenings, instead of reading or doing something useful, people sit in front of the box doing nothing but consuming. No starting a kitchen table business. No having club meetings. No self-improvement.
And the next day at work what do they talk about? What was on TV.
When the ratio on news shows is 1/99, one about the largest tax bill in the history of the world which takes total control of everything (cap and trade) and 99 is about Michael Jackson WHILE THE BILL IS BEING VOTED ON, you know TV is being used to distract from what's important by giving us a freak show.
